Tanager String Quartet
Welcome to our classical string quartet! With two violins, a viola, and a cello, we bring a unique blend of classical, folk, and pop music to life. Whether you’re seeking elegant background music for an event or lively performances that captivate your audience, we’re here to create memorable musical experiences. Let us add a touch of sophistication and joy to your next gathering! Rates start at $600 for the first hour, and an additional $200/hour, including travel time.

Why the Tanager Quartet? We are inspired by the beauty of birdsong, and the wall of inlaid birds that greets us at every rehearsal session. We settled on the tanager because of its representation in Dvorak's "American" String Quartet, one of the pillars of quartet repertoire.
Tanager Violin Duo
How many different violins would you expect to hear with a violin duo? With the Tanager Violin Duo, you'll hear four in different combinations: two classical violins, an octave violin (a violin with specialized strings that play in the cello range), and a Norwegian Hardanger fiddle. Different combinations of these give us a wide range of sound as we perform classical and folk duets for your special occasion. Rates start at $350 for the first hour, and an additional $100/hour, including travel time.
Highland Bagpipes
Bagpiper Nick of Kitsap County, WA, offers heartfelt performances for the most meaningful times in your life: weddings, funerals, vigils, and other celebrations of life. Competing as a solo, quartet, and band bagpiper across the US since 2009, I bring a quality, award-winning sound to my performances. My musical experience across genres, including classical violin, Irish fiddle and bagpipes, and Norwegian Hardanger fiddle, infuse a distinctive musical perspective into every performance. The most rewarding part of being a bagpiper is to see listeners moved to tears at the powerful yet reverent renditions of meaningful and significant music during pivotal moments of their lives. Rates start at $200 for the first hour, and an additional $50/hour, including travel time.
